I am a human-machine communication (HMC) researcher and PhD student in Emerging Media Studies at Boston University College of Communication under the supervision of Dr. Jim Cummings.​​

My research centers on human communication with media that are social actors. I examine users' pseudo-reciprocal interactions and relationships with machines (e.g., virtual agents) primarily but also mediated entities (e.g., media personalities).​​​​

I employ HMC and social psychology theories, diverse methods, and a humanitarian lens to investigate the above phenomena.
